~Details~ Join us for a fundraiser event, “Stories of Resilience” in solidarity with Sudan, Congo and Palestine on April 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at 2391 Pepin Court. Open to anyone who wants to come together in community, to honour the resilience that the Sudanese, Congolese, and Palestinian people have had to find to survive, and do what we can to support them from where we are. This event will include a silent auction, raffle, light refreshments, and performances (poetry, music, storytelling) on the theme of resilience. We will be collecting donations, which will be split equally between the three groups via legitimate and verified organizations. ~Transportation/Parking~ Bus route 25 Free but limited parking on site Carpool encouraged!

~Facilities/Accessibility~ The event will take place in English. The space is accessible by stair and elevator. Note the ground around the building is gravel. Composting gender-neutral toilets, one larger stall, no handrail. Chairs without arms. No heat/AC - if a cooler day, please bring warm clothes, blankets. Facemasks are welcome but not mandatory. Before attending, please do a self-assesment of your health. If you are experiencing any symptoms of any communicable virus or illness, please do not come.
