Adyn Townes: At the place where endings become beginnings, you’ll find Adyn Townes. He turned a fall into the ocean and months of recovery into his jumping off point. His music is challenging. Alternative indie-folk with raw and honest lyrics. Like finding your feet just before you fall, his songwriting is the gravity that pulls you back to earth. Inspired by the equal-parts hard and smooth voice of David Gray and the clear electric guitar tones of James Bay, Townes is always pushing the boundaries and seeing how close he can get to the edge. Currently working on a new album, produced by Colin Buchanan of Paper Lions, Townes (formerly Andy Brown) is focusing on building the foundation. Formulating floor plans and building from the ground up. http://www.adyntownes.com/

King Kimbit: The internationally-acclaimed multidisciplinary artist King Kimbit, originally Nguyễn Anh Thư, was born and raised on unceded Algonquin territory to Vietnamese boat people. King has performed and recorded in Jamaica and all over Turtle Island, sharing love and knowledge, which she believes are connected by similar roots. King has recently released her debut double-disc album LIFE LESSONS POETICALLY (with help from Canada Council for the Arts and the City of Ottawa). Life Lessons Poetically is a collection of poetry with respective musical arrangements to illustrate the lessons learned and insight gained so far in her quarter century journey through intersections. Despite the inevitable presence of oppressive white supremacy and patriarchy, there is beauty in telling stories of life and death, revealing the healing and survival of women and the world. https://www.kingkimbit.ca/
