Refugee Night is an annual Ottawa-wide event co-sponsored by the University of Ottawa, CARL uOttawa, and Refugee Hub. This year’s theme is “Local to Global,” and will bring together students, faculty and other community members to explore domestic and global issues related to forced migration policy. We are excited to have Louisa Taylor from Refugee 613, Allan Rock, and MP Jenny Kwan to speak at the event. Spoken word artist King Kimbit, Ottawa’s Poet Laureate JustJamaal, and award-winning comedian Danish Anwar will round out this special evening with their performances.

Don’t miss it! Tell your social justice pals! Refugee Night will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the Alumni Auditorium of the University Building. Free Admission! Refreshments will be served at 6:30pm and the show starts at 6:45pm!

La Soirée de Soutien aux Réfugiés 2018 est un événement annuel organisé à Ottawa et coparrainé par l'ACAADR uOttawa et Le carrefour des réfugiés. Le thème de cette année est « Local au Global», et réunira des étudiants, des professeurs et d'autres membres de la communauté pour explorer les problèmes nationaux et mondiaux liés à la politique de migration forcée. Nous sommes ravis d'accueillir Louisa Taylor de Refugee613, Allan Rock et la députée Jenny Kwan qui prendront parole lors de l'événement. L'artiste Spoken Word King Kimbit, le poète-lauréat d’Ottawa JustJamaal et le comédien primé Danish Anwar viendront compléter cette soirée spéciale par leurs performances.

Des rafraîchissements seront servis à 18h30 et la soirée commencera à 18h45.
