CAPÉ:

Amr Mazen, aka Capé, is an emerging hip-hop artist from Ottawa, Canada. Born in Egypt, Capé moved to Ottawa as an immigrant student in 2015. He began writing raps in his dorm room as a means of coping with homesickness, anxiety, and college stress - which eventually turned into songs he began to share with the world.

He takes pride in calling himself a “student of the game”, which is evident through his different fusions of hip-hop. Whether it’s his modern take on 90’s old school jazz vibes or the twists he puts over more contemporary trap beats, Capé carries an unforgettable energy in his lyrics, flows, and delivery.

He currently has 6 singles available across major streaming platforms (since May 2018) and has been doing shows consistently since late 2018, focusing on growing his fan base in Ottawa and Toronto.

KING KIMBIT:

King Kimbit is an internationally-acclaimed literary Hip-Hop artist born and raised on unceded Algonquin Aniishnabeg territory (Ottawa). Interested in telling stories that are authentic to her experiences and identities, her poetic work details the realities of her upbringing as the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, the truths of her social vantage point as a young racialized womxn, and her stance on social issues regarding racism, de/colonization, and gender inequality. This is all exemplified eloquently on her debut album “Life Lessons Poetically”. ASUQUOMO:

Asuquomo is an independent Canadian musician reclaiming and communicating a pan-African narrative with intricate spells for verses and folkloric hypnotics for hooks.

He was recently tagged in an article by as "...an artist elevating Ottawa immigrant communities". With an entrancing gyration; Asuquomo’s Debut single Wide Awake was premiered at the 2019 Canadian Music Week, with an energetic and highly engaging self-directed Music Video which was shot at his birthplace in PortHarcourt, Nigeria.
