Hoping your fall to winter transition is going as smooth as can be. For my birthday this year, which is also the first anniversary of my debut album, Life Lessons Poetically, I will be having a listening party at The Origin Arts & Community Centre of my album from top to bottom and have hard copies available for purchase. Come through and hang out, meet some people, and have some snacks. There will also be a live painting by Hasina Kamanzi.

This event will be Pay-What-You-Can to raise funds for me to go the Banff Spoken Word program. If you would can't attend but would like to support, kindly send your contributions to kingkimbit@gmail.com (e-transfer or paypal).

I would like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place and most of the album was created on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin Anishnaabeg territory, and all guests are expected to recognize the Algonquin people as the original keepers of this land.
